“Write Me a Song, Girlfriend” Contest Winner!
A kajillion thank you’s to the people who jumped in on this contest!
BeMyRecordLabel has now surpassed the 10K mark in CD pre-sales - partly because of people who were willing to take a fun little chance on having a song written about them.
And the winner of the contest is from my own town!

I had a dream that I was writing a song … I can only assume that my dream provider somehow got our accounts tangled …anyway , since I’m a painter , which is not really very musical usually, I’m passing on the content of the song I dreamed, maybe this will help in some abstract way with your trying to write new song…the dream was about a couple who bought the deed to a piece of land that they had rented years ago …at the time, when they rented, someone shot a bear on the land & they were upset but couldn’t do anything cause it wasn’t their property…so they saved up & finally got the deed to the land & now protect any wildlife that lived on the property…The word The Deed kept
appearing as part of a chorus…I assume this dream was for you not me, but maybe, if you have property with bears on it, you should buy it, or something…dreams aren’t very specific that way…hope this is helpful somehow…(p.s. don’t worry, I don’t dream alot…)
